CFD (Computationalfluid dynamics) is a branch of fluid mechanics that uses numericalanalysis and data structures to solve and analyze problems thatinvolve fluid flows. In this method Computers are used toperform required calculations to simulate the interaction of liquidsand gases with boundary conditions which is defined by user accordingto problem conditions. Ongoing research yields software that improves theaccuracy and speed of complex simulation scenarios such as turbulent flow.

CFDmethod can be used for a wide range of problems including ventilation,aerodynamic, pumps and turbines and other industrial uses. GenerallyCFD helps designers to achieve better results and it can reduce the cost ofproduction.

Regardingto ventilation cases, CFD can show us the stream of airwhich circulate in a room or parking lot. In such cases we can alsocalculate the temperature, pressure and flow speed in any point ofcomputational domain.

PyroSimand FDS Simulations

PyroSimis a graphical user interface for the Fire Dynamics Simulator (FDS). PyroSimhelps companies to create and manage the details of complex fire models.
PyroSim and FDS are both using as main software to simulate the fire reactionin different environments like Building, parking lot, Subway, Tuel, Cinema,Commercial office complex and …
Using PyroSim we could define smoke detectors and sprinklers in 3D model,in order to examine the current design in case of fire with both software.
Meanwhile it is possible to link PyroSim results with Pathfinder software whichis advanced movement simulation combined with high-quality 3-D animatedresults, gives reliable answers.
