CFD
Simulation
CFD (Computational
fluid dynamics) is a branch of fluid mechanics that uses numerical
analysis and data structures to solve and analyze problems that
involve fluid flows. In this method Computers are used to
perform required calculations to simulate the interaction of liquids
and gases with boundary conditions which is defined by user according
to problem conditions. Ongoing research yields software that improves the
accuracy and speed of complex simulation scenarios such as turbulent flow.
CFD
method can be used for a wide range of problems including ventilation,
aerodynamic, pumps and turbines and other industrial uses. Generally
CFD helps designers to achieve better results and it can reduce the cost of
production.
Regarding
to ventilation cases, CFD can show us the stream of air
which circulate in a room or parking lot. In such cases we can also
calculate the temperature, pressure and flow speed in any point of
computational domain.
According
to late subjects it is recommended to use CFD for design of industrial
ventilation for parking lot, warehouses, factories and workshops using Jet fan
or axial fans.
